Current Programme Schedule

Monday to Friday
8.00pm to 10.00pm		 Daily Request Show - Ward visitors collect requests from different floors each afternoon or evening.
Saturday No broadcasts
Sunday
10.00am to 10.00pm		 Various specialist shows including Darlington Talking Newspaper plus patient requests.
OLD TIME FAVOURITES and NOSTALGIA SHOWS are generally broadcast 10.30am to 11.30am each Tuesday morning and 2.30pm to 3.30pm each Thursday afternoon.

Requests and dedications

Apart from our daily ward visitors, requests and dedications can be telephoned to our studio at any time on 01325 743304 (or 3304 from an internal phone).

How to listen to us in the hospital

Simply select Channel 3 during our broadcast times on the patient headsets and listen on the headset tubes attached to the control unit.

Each day room has a speaker and a selector switch. Simply select Channel 4 or D (it is usually marked with a sticker) and adjust the volume level.

In the Pierremont Unit, each day room and rest area is fitted with a loudspeaker. On the bottom of each loudspeaker is a white switch, simply switch to on and adjust the volume using the rotary control knob on the side of the unit.

During times when Radio Skerne is not broadcasting, an alternative local radio service is relayed through the system.
