By rail

Darlington station is on the East Coast Main Line from London to Edinburgh and most trains stop here. There are also local trains from Teesside and Bishop Auckland. Leave the station and walk down the approach road to Parkgate and turn left. The number 25a or 25b buses pick up at the stop just past the bridge. Ask for Trinity Church which is about 5 minutes journey time. Alternatively, continue walking into the town centre, turn right at the market clock tower at the top of Tubwell Row then left into Bondgate, near Pease's statue. Keep walking straight along this road and Balmoral Guest House is on the left just after Holy Trinity Church.

By air

There are several flights from London Heathrow each day plus a number of regional airports. The number 74 bus goes through the town centre then follow similar instructions to arriving by rail.
