Bank Top railway station

Picture of Bank Top railway station, Darlington, England
Bank Top station is the main railway station in Darlington. It is an important stop on the East Coast main line, with connections to Teesside and convenient for road access to the Dales in the West.

The present structure, originally called Central Station, was built in 1887 after criticism of the previous, temporary structure by Queen Victoria.

The bell from the clock tower is now on display on platform 4.
