The site can be used by the whole community in Darlington. Contributions and requests can be made from any person or organisation to add information if it has some relevance to the site. Free listings and other support may be available for commercial and non-commercial organisations.
The site is for use by people of all ages and we take great care not to include any material which could be considered offensive. We therefore reserve the right to refuse certain requests or contributions.
We are continually updating and revising the pages on the site in response to requests and changing circumstances. Our policy is not to have pages under contruction, we only add complete information (normally!). Despite our thorough testing of the pages, occasionally minor problems are missed. If you find anything on the site which is incorrect or does not work as expected, please let us know and we will alter it as quickly as possible.
Most of the pages on the site have been designed and work best on an IBM compatible PC using Microsoft Internet Explorer V3.01 with screen settings of 800 x 600 and 256 colours. We try to get a balance between a good design and compatibility with most browsers. If you experience serious difficulties with any other equipment, software or settings please let us know and we will try to adjust the design to avoid the problem.
Darlington Networld is hosted on the aeiou web site which was initially set up with funding and support from County Durham and Darlington TEC and Onyx Internet.
